Halo Beriti - Ethiopia
Apricot | Blueberry | Lavender
A super fruity natural Ethiopian. Anaerobically fermented for extra complexity and juiciness.
This coffee is produced by multiple farmers in the Halo Beriti kebele. Cherries are anaerobically fermented to enhance their natural fruitiness and complexity. In the cup we get an amazing representation of the unique cup profile Ethiopia is world famous for.
Harvesting takes place from October through early January, during which time Ephtah employs around 15 permanent staff and up to 250 temporary workers, reflecting the seasonal intensity of the harvest. The site benefits from shade provided by false banana trees (Enset), a traditional agroforestry practice that supports soil health and biodiversity.
