Daily Rituals With Twelve Triangles

At the heart of Twelve Triangles is a simple idea: be a part of people’s daily rituals.

It didn’t begin that way. In the early days, the business was rooted in cakes and wholesale supply: brownies, tray bakes, and celebration pieces for special occasions. But over time, the team recognised the power of delivering on consistent daily experiences, and how truly important they are day-to-day.

As co-founder Rachel Morgan explains, at the time she thought,“It’d be quite nice to move into something that’s really a daily thing.” That pivot, from treats to staples, became the foundation of everything that followed.

Dialling in on the daily ritual now shows up in every detail. The breads and pastries, each a multi-day process to perfect, are crafted to make your morning. The coffee is at the heart of the experience, to become part of your daily routine. That routine is everything.

For Twelve Triangles, Allpress was a key part of shifting their focus to creating daily rituals.“The coffee side is massive for us,” Rachel explains. The team needed a product that spoke to the consistency of their entire offering, something to complement it perfectly.“It needs to sit naturally alongside the bread and pastries, whether it’s a takeaway flat white or beans for home.”

Switching coffee suppliers isn’t always simple for a small business, together with Allpress, the team put real care into making the transition feel easy from day one. It showed.“We heard very little when we switched… which we took as a good sign,” Rachel says.“If something’s not right, people tend to let you know.”

With their new focus, the team have now grown their footprint to seven sites across Edinburgh(plus two in Melrose)! When it comes to new locations, the team focus not on footfall, but on familiarity; neighbourhoods where the locals are, so to speak.“We need to be on people’s dog walks… on their walk to work,” Rachel explains,“we want to be there for people in their day to day”.

This element of staying rooted in the local has helped keep the team grounded. Even as the business has grown from“me and one other person in a shed” to a team of nearly 90, the experience remains deliberately local.

In the end, what makes Twelve Triangles special isn’t overworked complexity; it’s care, consistency, and a love for people. Care in the craft, in the sourcing, and in their partnerships. And showing up as consistently as possible for every single customer who comes through their doors. A daily ritual done exceptionally well. It may be simple, but it’s proven to be incredibly powerful.
